About

19-year-old singer/songwriter/producer Patrick Tabaks has been immersed in music since his sister began teaching him piano at the age of six. By 11, he was performing at the Latvian National Opera, singing solos, duets and ensemble numbers as part of the opera, gospel and academic choirs in concerts in his homeland and abroad. 

Now Patrick is launching his solo career with the release of his debut album Lost My Mind.  A nine-song collection of soulful, guitar-driven pop, Lost My Mind explores subjects such as grief and the afterlife.

To all my dearest present and future supporters and listeners, 

I can’t say enough how much it means to me that somebody out there sees me and sees the work I have created. It is all because of YOU and it is all for YOU…even though I might not know you personally, I am highly thankful to be a part of your daily life and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to make your day just a little better. The fact that you relate to what I feel gives me the strength and willpower to keep on making music. Because now I know that what I create is not just for me, it is for all of you as well. For that I say THANK YOU!! 

When I started making my first album, I really had lost my mind. There was so much emotion built up in me and I knew that I wanted to make it into art. Now some time has passed since I started making the first song and I have realized that I wasn’t making new art, but I was just putting out something that was in me. And I’d like to call that art. So, no matter what you do in life you have to remember that you yourself are art. You are art just by being yourself and you make people happy when you are with them. Remember that. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
